Golf
La Ferme is an ideal base from which to enjoy a golfing break. With an experienced golfer in our team, we know the local courses and we can design a programme to match your requirements.
We can reserve your tee times and book buggies, trolleys etc.
If you are coming to the region without transport, we can meet you at the airport/station and take you to and from golf each day - and to local restaurants in the evening.
With four spacious bedrooms, we can accommodate up to ten players.
From April to June and September to October, when the weather is usually perfect for golf, the local courses, which include several of the highest standard, are relatively quiet.
Local courses
Golf Club du Lac d'Annecy: 5016m Par 69
A compact course situated on the east side of the lake, near the village of Talloires. Built in 1953 on and around the Roc de Chere, it has a number of blind holes which demand an accurate shot from the tee! Its smallish greens will test the accuracy of your approach shot. Around the course, there are magnificent views of the lake, the mountains and the Chateau Menthon St Bernard. A well established members' Club with a lively clubhouse atmosphere at lunchtime.
Golf Club d'Aix-les-Bains: 5519m Par 71
Close to the centre of this famous spa town and its beautiful lake, this is one of France's oldest courses. An easy motorway drive from La Ferme, it is a lively members'Club and open throughout the year. Several water hazards and a small stream add to the challenge of this gently undulating course.

Golf Club d'Esery: Par 72
Designed and built in 1990, Esery is a superb test of golf. Laid out on the hillside below the small village of Esery, it is a "Country Club" with an impressive clubhouse, restaurant and a swimming pool. The quality of the course has already brought several Swiss and French Championship events to this classy Club.
Golf de Bossey: 5952m Par 72
An exclusive Golf and Country Club within easy reach of La Ferme, Bossey only accepts visitors on weekdays. Technically challenging and heavily wooded, this attractive Robert Trent Jones design will test any golfer. Built on the site of a historic Domaine, the fairways meander across the Salève hillside above Geneva. A quality golfing experience by any standards.
Golf de Giez: 5820m Par 72
This fascinating course is for the most part on level ground just to the south of Lake Annecy. In sharp contrast, holes three to eight traverse a steep hillside and offer a very different challenge to the rest of the course! It is another with stunning views of Mont Blanc, the local mountains and the lake.
A very popular Club with an attractive terrace for a well deserved drink after your round.
