Winter

The region?s winter sports need no introduction with the popular ski areas of La Clusaz, Grand Bornand, Flaine and Chamonix less than an hour away.










We have many winter visitors on their way to or returning from their holiday and adding that extra day to their fixed week in resort.

Clearly, we are not in the centre of a ski resort, next to "The Jolly Sailor" pub and "Les Etoiles" discotheque!

However, we offer an alternative to the ski resort for those who do not want all that goes with "apres-ski" - a family with young children, for example.  

We also attract skiers who do not necessarily want to be on the slopes every day of their winter holiday.  A day shopping in Annecy or Geneva or enjoying some therapy in the famous spa town of Aix-les-Bains can provide a pleasant alternative to the delights of "les pistes".
